About

I am currently an Assistant Clinical Research Associate with Thermo Fisher Scientific, where I support site monitoring activities. During my time with Thermo Fisher, I have gained valuable clinical experience, including conducting site management calls and utilizing clinical systems such as Veeva Vault, Medidata, and Oracle CTMS. To further my expertise, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Biopharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs at Northeastern University. This education complements my career trajectory by enhancing my understanding of the regulatory framework for pharmaceutical development and strengthening my clinical research skills. My professional goals are driven by a strong enthusiasm for advancing into a Clinical Research Associate position and ultimately striving for further growth in leadership roles.

Prior to joining Thermo Fisher, I had a six-year career with Hertz, where I honed strong customer service and sales skills, highlighted by significant achievements and leadership roles. Starting as a Management Associate, I quickly adopted company sales and customer service techniques, excelling in delivering top-tier customer service. As I progressed into Branch Manager and District Manager positions, I won multiple customer service awards both individually and as a manager. Additionally, during my tenure as Branch Manager and District Manager, I effectively utilized Salesforce CRM to manage and strengthen key accounts, driving significant revenue growth and enhancing customer relationships. As a General Manager, I successfully led off-airport operations in the greater Philadelphia area, managing fifteen store locations and a workforce of seventy-five employees. I developed and executed strategic plans to meet business objectives, analyzed and presented operational performance to senior leadership, and implemented policies and procedures that significantly improved operational efficiency.

In addition to my experience, I actively participate in professional courses to broaden my expertise. These courses cover areas such as Medical Terminology, Business Foundations, Data Management for Clinical Trials, Lean Six Sigma, and more. Recently, I have developed a strong interest in web development and am currently taking an IBM course to learn basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript languages. This new skill set not only enhances my technical proficiency but also enables me to better understand and contribute to the increasingly digital and data-driven landscape of clinical research. Outside of work, my hobbies include cooking and golf. Growing up as an athlete, I competed in multiple sports, eventually focusing on golf. I competed at the collegiate level and in amateur tournaments across North Carolina. This experience not only honed my competitive drive but also fostered a lasting love for the sport. In addition to golf, I have a deep interest in cooking. I have taken several cooking classes and particularly enjoy preparing Italian and Mediterranean dishes, exploring the rich flavors and techniques these cuisines offer.
